🌟Empowering Women for Social Upliftment: A Step Towards Financial Independence🌟Today, in collaboration with District Cooperative Bank Limited, Varanasi, we organized a special event at Sant Ravidas Ghat to celebrate Cooperative Week. The theme, « Role of Cooperatives in Social Upliftment », highlighted the vital role of cooperatives in empowering communities, particularly women. The event featured Shri Milind, CEO of the Bank, who emphasized that women’s economic self-reliance is key to national progress. He discussed the benefits of savings and various schemes available through cooperative banks. Dr. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Senior Psychologist, stressed that financial empowerment enhances women’s self-respect and mental well-being, fostering confidence and independence. Mrs. Roly Singh Raghuvanshi, Founder President of Khula Aasman Sanstha, shared her vision of connecting women with sustainable employment opportunities. The event also marked the opening of zero-balance accounts for women. We are grateful to the distinguished guests, including ADCs, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Director, and other leaders, for their support. Together, we are working towards a future where women are not only financially independent but also socially empowered. #KhulaAasmaan #CooperativeWeek #WomenEmpowerment #FinancialIndependence #SocialUpliftment #NGO #Collaboration #GenderEquality #SocialImpact #Ankurpathsala
